Chef de Partie
Railtown’s Cafe division is currently hiring a Chef de Partie to join our kitchen brigade. We are seeking a dynamic, motivated and upbeat team player whom Railtown operates on a merit-based pay tier system that rewards deserving individuals who wish to advance in their culinary careers. This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented cook who is seeking ongoing professional development and growth potential — whether it’s gaining experience at our current cafes or soon-to-open locations.

Responsibilities
Reporting to the Sous Chef, this individual will be responsible for small-scale production. He/ she will help oversee a small team who will also be in charge opening and/or closing the facility and takes pride in quality work (just like us!).
We are open 7 days a week, we offer flexible scheduling with a competitive hourly wage based on experience.

Candidate Requirements
4-6 years of experience in a high-volume kitchen considered an asset
Positive, can-do attitude
Strong work ethic and high standards for quality
Team player who builds trust with colleagues and can be relied upon for their honesty and integrity
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Eager to learn and continually improve
Superior organization skills, attention to detail and cleanliness
